We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, maintaining patient records, and ensuring infection control protocols are followed.
```Responsibilities```
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Take and record patients' vital signs
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Provide support to the dental receptionist as needed
```Skills```
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Proficiency in dental office systems and software (example Eaglesoft)
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry
- Ability to perform basic dental assisting tasks, such as taking impressions and fabricating temporary crowns
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Excellent infection control practices
