The Market Leader is accountable for the growth and diversification of the Business Group(s) throughout North America including providing input to the strategic direction of the Demolition and Decommissioning. These activities include leading winning work activities, achievement of revenue and growth targets, enhanced client relationships, and development and implementation of the business plan.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Develops and implements Business Group Client Development Plans. The plans will be focused primarily on new relationship development and geographic expansion as a service offering to new and current clients.
- Builds effective relationships with the Business Group's key existing clients, while also expanding the client base.
- Serves as the client manager for key clients and develops/executes associated client engagement plans.
- Actively participates in professional and/or industrial organizations to promote the GHD brand.
- Promotes and cross-sells other GHD services.
- Collaborates with members of the Americas Business Groups, as well as the Americas and Regional Market Leaders, Service Line Leaders, and Client Sector Leaders to achieve excellent business outcomes.
- Develops and mentors senior leadership and/or rising talent within the Business Group(s).
- Works with project directors, project managers, and project teams to establish and improve job delivery skills within Business Group(s).
- Collaborates with Regional BGLs in order to maintain uniform delivery approach and high degree of connectivity on opportunities.
- Demonstrates support and compliance with the requirements of the GHD HSE Management system and management participation matrix.
- Acts as Project Manager or Project Director on appropriate projects.
- Attracts strategic hires for the Business Group to develop the business.
What you will bring to the team:
- Greater than 10 years of technical sales and business development experience within a professional services organization required with a strong emphasis and demonstrated success (growth) with account/client relationship management.
- Direct technical execution experience, including seller/doer attributes, strongly preferred to offer enhanced client empathy/understanding on project execution, project management and client support activities.
- Appropriate technical degree(s) (BS or more), certification(s) and/or accreditation(s) (PE, DBIA, PM, LEED, etc.) within GHD focus areas (water, environment, energy, and property & buildings and more)
- Professional and technical society and/or community engagement representative of an agile learner mindset with a professional and external network.
