SalaryOverview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to customer locations
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or hand trucks
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring prompt and accurate deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs, invoices, and customer signatures
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Courier, or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management is a plus
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical demands of the job
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License
- Must provide your own reliable transportation for deliveries
