Delivery Driver

Fitzsimmons Home Medical Equipment is currently seeking a full-time Delivery Technician to join our Tinley Park, IL team! • 8-hour shift from 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm Monday - Friday with mandatory paid on-call Night Service and weekend rotations available also.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the loading, delivery, set-up, and pick up of durable medical equipment, supplemental oxygen products, and supplies to home care patients.
• Performs simple company vehicle maintenance; cleaning interior of vehicle, checking lights, checking tires, filling fluids, scheduling routine maintenance to keep vehicle running properly.
• Ability to utilize navigation applications, observe all traffic laws and posted speed limits.
• Interacts with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.
• Collects required signatures utilizing TransportAce for proof of delivery and payment.
• Maintain a neat, clean personal appearance and observes no smoking policy in delivery vehicle.
• Unloads vehicle after completing delivery runs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• 2 years of similar experience in delivery driving setting, medical equipment experience preferred, not required.
• Graduate of an accredited high school or equivalent.
• Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver 80 lbs.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and medical certificate at all times.
• Successful completion of background check and physical and drug screening.
• Company Insurance regulations require drivers be age 21 or older.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
