Delivery Driver: Deliver Amazon Packages Full-Time With Falls Delivery

We are hiring motivated individuals to deliver Amazon packages in and around Sioux Falls.

This is a regular (W-2) employee position delivering Amazon packages while driving a company vehicle, using a company mobile device, and wearing a company-provided branded uniform.

Approximate full-time working hours are 9am to 7pm (up to 10 hours per day). Full time is typically 4 days per week, on weekdays and weekends.

We are currently accepting applications from candidates who are available to work everySunday (in addition to up to 3 other days per week).

Extra time (5th and 6th day) opportunities are available for high-performers.

As a Delivery Associate, you will be the face of our company. It will be your job to consistently exceed customer expectations by making sure all orders are delivered with a smile, on time, safely, and to the right location.

This is not a job with Amazon. Amazon is a global mega-corporation with tons of bureaucracy. This is a job with Falls Delivery, an independent company that has a contract with Amazon to deliver packages in and around Sioux Falls. Falls Delivery is a local business where positive attitude, teamwork, and commitment to getting the job done matters most.

About the job:

• Delivery Associates are full-time employees driving clean and modern company vehicles.
• Branded company uniform.
• Full time is a 4 day work week. The same days every week.
• Part time is 1 or 2 days per week. The same days every week.
• Shifts available 7 days per week. Generally, employees are expected to work at least one weekend day each week.
• Deliver small packages (< 50 lbs), door-to-door, from our warehouse in Sioux Falls, SD.
• Residential deliveries, with some commercial.
• Lots of walking. A typical route involves making 200-225 stops, and delivering 275-325 packages. You must be physically capable of lifting and carrying 50 pounds, and of entering and exiting a delivery vehicle 200+ times in a day.
• Part of the Falls Delivery team, a high-performing and collaborative group of great people who are delivering the world to Sioux Falls.

Compensation and benefits:

• $20 / hour base pay.
• Bonus program. Our average employee earns significantly more than $20 per hour worked. High performers earn more than $22 per hour worked. Target wage is $900 per week ($46,800 / year) for a four-day work week, and $1,127 per week ($58,614 / year) for a five-day work week. Employees are normally eligible for the bonus program after completing 30 routes.

Basic job requirements:

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Be able to speak, read, and understand English for safety.
• Have proof of identity and authorization to work in the United States.
• Have a valid driver’s license (a commercial driver’s license (CDL) is NOT required).
• Pass a 5-panel pre-employment drug test (marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, PCP).
• Pass pre-employment screening.
• Be able to operate and navigate a delivery vehicle (cargo van), weighing 10,000 lbs. or less.
• Be able to lift and carry parcels up to 50 lbs.
• Be able to safely enter and exit a delivery vehicle 200+ times per day.
• Be able to successfully use delivery devices and apps to complete daily tasks.
• Be reliable, and report to work when scheduled (scheduled are published well in advance, and employees usually work the same days every week).
