Delivery Associate - E-Bike, Part Time - Carroll St, West Loop

OVERVIEW

Transcorp Services LLC is seeking Part-Time Delivery Associates (E-Bike) for the Fulfillment Operations team.

About our Fulfillment Operations team:The Fulfillment Operations team owns innovation in operations and works cross-functionally to bring new fulfillment solutions to market in partnership with retailers. It is charged with creating step-change improvements in growth, customer experience, operations, and delivery experience as we focus on creating new solutions across our multiple operating models that accelerate the future of grocery.

Highlights: The Delivery Associate will deliver customer orders from designated retail fulfillment location(s) using an e-bike provided by Transcorp during scheduled shifts, maintain the quality of the goods delivered, provide friendly customer service and support, and ensure all safety standards are followed at all times.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Receive and complete assigned delivery orders via an app on a smartphone during scheduled shifts. 
• Ensure each order is delivered safely to the correct customer then promptly return to the designated facility to pick up additional orders or otherwise assist the Facility Operations team. 
• Transport customer orders safely and efficiently and complete regular check-ins with your supervisor/Facility Operations staff, both during your route and while at the facility.
• Report any issues or incidents related to a delivery promptly, clearly, and thoroughly.
• Act as a brand ambassador and provide friendly customer service and support.
• Serve as front-line quality control, interacting with customers, addressing concerns, and elevating issues as necessary.
• Be part of a fun and active team, and support your teammates in maintaining safe, efficient, high-quality fulfillment operations.
• E-bike will be provided by Transcorp.
• Enjoy hourly pay, plus any customer tips.

ABOUT YOU

• Ability to understand and follow safety, quality, and procedural standards
• At least 21 years of age
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Experience working in Delivery (preferred)
• Ability to do the following:
• Lift up to 40 lbs. 
• Communicate effectively with Customers
• Communicate orally and in writing with supervisors and management
• Friendly and courteous personality
• Reliable and timely
• Must have a smartphone with a data plan
• Eligible for partial phone bill reimbursement
• Flexible schedule, availability to work holidays, evenings, and/or weekends
• Assist when needed with the following:
• Receive product from retail partners, ensuring physical count matches purchase order/invoice, and resolve discrepancies when they do not match
• Perform stock refresh runs from local retail-partner outlets as necessary
• Put away products to inventory locations
• Re-shelve canceled orders promptly
• Conduct cycle counts to identify loss
• Retrieve any “quarantine” product from shelves: expiring, recall
• Sort non-sold products leaving the facility: donation, food/non-food waste, return to retailer 
• Ensure workspace, shelves, and aisles are clean and organized according to our health and safety standards
• Comply with all food-safety standards
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Clean and maintain equipment, including company-provided e-bikes, in a state of good repair
• Able to ride an e-bike and complete associated safety training
• General knowledge of how to get around [insert city] quickly
• Perform other duties as assigned
