Deck Steward

Job Description:

• Clean and maintain the ship's deck areas, including sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing as needed

• 
  Organize and maintain deck equipment, such as lounge chairs, umbrellas, and pool toys

• Assist with the set-up and breakdown of events and activities on the deck, including arranging furniture and equipment

• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the pool and other recreational areas

• Respond to guest inquiries and provide excellent customer service

• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the deck department

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of guests and crew members

• Participate in training and drills to maintain a safe and efficient working environment

• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor, including lifting and carrying heavy objects

• Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
