DEBIT CARD/OPERATIONS CLERK JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential Functions

• Debit cards: order, hot card, raise/lower limits, unblock cards
  • Establish Tranblocker rules
  • Work daily Enfact/Case Tracker reports
• Assist customers with ATM/debit card issues i.e. unauthorized and disputed charges-submit to Fiserv EFT
• Review large checks for proper completion
• Assisting customers with problems, trouble shooting
• Assist customers with online banking questions
• Customer research
• Bookkeeping functions - answer phone and take bookkeeping calls
• Scan daily work
• Process daily notices
• Backup teller line as needed
• Backup new accounts as needed
• Working knowledge and annual training on Bank Secrecy Act
• Recognizing and reporting of suspicious activity
• All other duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities

• Primary duties performed in an office environment
• All other duties as assigned

Required Education, Experience and Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalency required
• Understanding of responsibilities under the Bank Secrecy Act through initial and periodic training
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good conversational skills
• Advanced PC skills and knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of bank operations a plus
• Position requires lifting up to 20 lbs.
