EquipmentShare is searching for a Dealership Financial Coordinator for our VLP location in Kansas City, MO, to support our team as the department continues to grow.
Primary ResponsibilitiesManage the Operations of the Finance/Credit Area
Coordinate with Sales Reps nationwide to obtain financing for customers
Develop & Maintain good working relationships with manufacturers
Develop & Maintain good working relationships with lenders and understand their guidelines
Establish policies and procedures for the finance and credit department
Establish pricing expectations and incentives in relation to financing
Educate Sales Reps to help better understand equipment financing process
Seek and establish vendor relationships to maximize profits and excellent customer service
Develop and track customer relations through discovery process, closing and loan services
Maintain High Level of Customer Satisfaction
Ensure customers respect our business, enjoy their time with us and become loyal, and repeat customers
Customers should feel they are protected from unexpected expenses and confident in referring their family and friends
Responsible for becoming part of the customer's lifelong group of advisors, in conjunction with the sales team, informing the customer of industry news, sales and financing promotions and networking opportunities
Maintain customer relationships and understand their buying patterns/triggers
Protect Company Assets
Responsible for maintaining the delicate balance of getting every possible customer approved and closed while upholding high level of ethics and integrity
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Review of finance documents prior to sending for funding
Increase Bottom Line by Selling Back-End Products
Responsible for quoting/selling aftermarket products such as physical damage insurance, purchase protection plans, other insurance plans, etc.
Provide customer quotes based on manufacturer programs while determining the best lender for customer based on history
Working relationship with the sales staff to create ways to introduce products early in the sales process through sales staff recommendations
Provide printed or electronic materials to both sales force and customers
Proficient at presenting customers options in a clear and consistent manner
Ability to build rapport and obtain critical information about the customer to assist with meeting customer needs

Skills & QualificationsFinance degree preferred
