Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Daycare Teacher to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your role will involve implementing age-appropriate activities, ensuring the well-being of each child, and fostering their social and cognitive development. Responsibilities: - Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children - Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities - Provide individualized attention to each child's needs - Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and educational activities - Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress - Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care - Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment - Collaborate with other daycare staff to create a cohesive team Requirements: - Previous experience in caregiving, childcare, or related field - Experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children - Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices - Strong classroom management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment - CPR and First Aid certification and valid Boise Childcare license (or willingness to obtain) - High school diploma or equivalent (required), Early Childhood Education certification (preferred) Note: All positions at our daycare center are paid positions.
