Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Daycare Teacher to join their childcare team. The Daycare Teacher will play a crucial role in providing a safe, educational, and enriching environment for children in their care. This position requires a passion for early childhood education, effective communication skills, and a commitment to fostering the development and well-being of young children.
Job location: Forest Park, GA
Timings: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Responsibilities:
Child Care and Supervision: Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Curriculum Implementation: Follow and implement the daycare's curriculum, incorporating age-appropriate educational materials and activities. Foster a love of learning through play, art, music, and other educational experiences.
Observation and Assessment: Monitor and assess children's developmental progress, identifying areas for improvement or additional support. Maintain accurate records of each child's growth and development.
Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians, sharing updates on their child's activities and progress. Address any questions, concerns, or special needs with parents in a timely and professional manner.
Health and Safety: Ensure a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment. Follow health and safety protocols, including administering first aid when necessary.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow Daycare Teachers and staff to create a supportive and positive work environment. Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate required.
- Relevant childcare experience, including working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Ability to pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements.
