Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the daycare
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure a cohesive and positive learning environment
- Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the daycare facility
- Assist with potty training, diaper changes, and basic hygiene routines
Skills:
- Early childhood education: Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Toddler care: Experience working with toddlers and understanding their unique needs
- Infant care: Understanding of the specific needs of infants, including feeding, diapering, and soothing techniques
- Childcare: Ability to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children of various ages
- Classroom management: Skill in maintaining discipline, promoting positive behavior, and managing classroom dynamics
- Special education: Familiarity with strategies for supporting children with special needs or learning disabilities
- Preschool: Experience working with preschool-aged children and implementing educational activities
- Caregiving: Ability to provide emotional support, comfort, and care to children in a nurturing manner
- Classroom: Proficiency in organizing materials, setting up learning centers, and creating an inviting classroom environment
