Responsibilities:
- Follow age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the daycare
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and rest periods
- Observe and assess each child's development
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility
Requirements:
- Ability to engage in educational activities for children
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children
Skills:
- Special education: Experience working with children with special needs is a plus
- Classroom management: Ability to maintain a structured and organized classroom environment
- Preschool curriculum: Familiarity with age-appropriate curriculum for preschool-aged children
- Childcare: Knowledge of best practices in childcare and child safety
- Toddler care: Experience caring for toddlers and meeting their unique needs
- Caregiving: Ability to provide emotional support and care for children in a nurturing manner
- First aid: Knowledge of basic first aid procedures in case of accidents or emergencies
