```Job Overview:```
Gateway Center Day Programs Manager is responsible for the development and successful operation of our PGSR, SALSR, and CADC Programs.
The Manager oversees program budgets, directs staff; ensures that each client has a quality of life that encourages Person Center Learning, and assures compliance with applicable regulations that govern the respective services, such as Title 22, Title 17 and HCBS, and DDS.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Provides direct support and oversight to all Day Program Services personnel and actively monitors performance.
- Develops and ensures successful implementation of staff training for all programs.
- Ensures Quality Assurance of all Gateway Center Day programs to include compliance with HCBS, Title 22, Department of Health and Title 17.Prepares andoversees all expenditures in theapproved budget for the Day Programs.
- Identifies and evaluates new opportunities for Gateway center's Day Programs and makes recommendations to the Leadership Team as appropriate.
- Ensures that Day Programs operate in compliance with Gateway Center's policies and procedures.
- Acts as liaison with families, regulatory agencies, current and/or potential professionals and the community at large concerning day services.
- Prepares monthly reports concerning day services for the Board of Directors.
- Mandated Reporter of any suspected abuse as defined by Department of Social service form SOC 314A, of dependent Adults and Elders. Suspected abuse will be reported to CCL, SARC, Adult Protective Services and local law enforcement.
- Attends in-service training, maintains current First Aid and CPR Certification.
Maintains CEU requirements as mandated through CCL of 40 hours every 24 months as specified by Title 22, section 82064 and according to SARC Regulations.
- Complies with Gateway Center safety standards and infectious disease control standard and Universal Precaution training as defined in section 80001(1)
- Understands and practices full confidentiality.
EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field.
- Three years of related experience working with the developmentally disabled.
- Three years of management experience preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Ca. driver’s license and clean driving record
- Fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice
- Completion and pass a TB test and health screening exam
- Flu shot and COVID-19 vaccine
- Working knowledge of developmental disabilities, quality program services, administrative and budgeting practices and applicable Federal and State Regulations.
- Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals supported, their families, and support staff.
- Ability to develop positive community support
- Current CPR/First Aid
- Able to communicate efficiently and effectively in verbal and in written form
- Be able to effectively problem-solve independently
- Computer literate/ZOOM
- Excellent organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
