Data Visualization Specialist

Job Summary:

As a Data Visualization Specialist at Jerry Seiner Dealerships, you will use advanced techniques to extract and visualize meaningful insights from data, enhancing both business performance and customer experiences. Engaging with cross-functional teams, you will identify and address complex data challenges, employing your expertise in statistical analysis, data manipulation, and Data Visualization. Your role will involve crafting actionable recommendations for key stakeholders, contributing significantly to the success of our business strategies and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement intuitive and actionable user reporting using Data Visualization tools such as Tableau, Vena, and Looker Studio.
• Develop and maintain databases, data systems, dashboards, and reports to facilitate data analysis and visualization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into data analysis solutions.
• Perform data cleaning, validation, and preprocessing to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Conduct advanced statistical analysis and modeling to support business forecasting and decision-making processes.
• Present findings and insights clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in developing and implementing data-related projects, including data governance and quality initiatives.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, tools, and technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar analytical role.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality data analysis and insights to support business objectives.
• Strong proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using Big Query, SQL, Python, R, Excel, or Tableau tools.
• Experience with data querying, data modeling, and database design.
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts and methods (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression, clustering).
• Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and passion for working with complex datasets.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
