We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Data Verification Clerk. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data by verifying and validating information in various databases and systems. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be crucial as you review and analyze large volumes of data to identify discrepancies and resolve any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities:
- Verify and validate data entries in databases and systems by comparing against source documents and records.
- Review and analyze large volumes of data to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies.
- Investigate and resolve any data errors or discrepancies.
- Communicate with internal teams and external sources to gather missing or additional information.
- Update and maintain accurate data records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Generate reports or summaries of verified data for management review.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement Data Verification processes and ensure adherence to data quality standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, to manipulate and analyze data.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with data quality standards and best practices is a plus.
