LeoTech is looking for an entry level Data Specialist who understands and is willing to learn the complexity of data analysis and presentation. This is a remote position and candidates must possess the work ethic to perform consistently with little supervision.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain business analysis and data recording systems for use throughout the department and company.
- Maintain databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy.
- Collect data for various types of business reports.
- Assist in the creation of business reports and presentations that provide insight into key data points.
- Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to LeoTech Executives and managers.
- The goal is to ensure that information is analyzed and presented in a timely and immediately comprehensible manner.

- Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs and charts and present them via Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers.
- Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions.

- General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Bachelor of Science degree in any business-related fields (Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management)
OR
- Business/Data Analytics certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP), Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or other recognized certification programs.
- Dynamics 365 and Power BI Development experience in Reports, Dashboards and DAX queries.
- Previous experience working from home in remote positions.
- Military and/or Law Enforcement experience.
