Job Description
As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our organization’s efforts to secure sensitive data, reduce vulnerabilities, and enhance threat management. You will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Collect, preprocess, and analyze data related to data encryption and protection initiatives. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to inform decision-making.
- Predictive Modeling: Develop and implement predictive models to assess data exposure risks and vulnerabilities. Create models to predict potential threats and recommend proactive measures.
- Data Visualization: Create visually compelling and informative data visualizations to communicate finding and insights to stakeholders.
- Machine Learning: Utilize machine learning techniques to develop algorithms for identifying security threats, implement anomaly detection and classification models.
- Statistical analysis: Conduct statistical analysis to assess the effectiveness of encryption measures and data protection strategies. Generate statistical reports and insights.
- Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources and systems to create a comprehensive view of Data Security and encryption. Ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Reporting and Insights: Generate reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to the program stakeholders. Communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity experts and data engineers, to enhance data protection strategies.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Ph.D in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling in a cybersecurity or related domain
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to assess risks and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active Moderate Risk MBI clearance is a plus).
- Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant.
