DATA SECURITY ANALYST

Under general supervision: Implements and maintains effective security, policies, procedures to meet reporting requirements. Independently provides specialized technical, professional and analytical support to Information & Data Security and various other departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Fundamental Duties

• Provides direct support for the daily functions of the Information & Data Security department’s activities. Research reported operational problems and performs appropriate follow-up with user. Responds to customer inquiries.
• Primary reviewer and monitor of various security systems: Web filtering, Security Incident Event Management, and Mobile Device Management. Conduct monthly and quarterly vulnerability scans on the WABInternet and Non-Internet Production networks.
• Supports Data Security Specialist in the daily, weekly, and monthly review of System Access Requests, and account creation reviews.
• Serves as the primary administrator of the Social Media monitoring and the badge access system, conducts the Banks phishing campaigns, and is responsible for the NPPI data scans and reviews of the WABInternet network.

Marginal Functions: (Additional duties which could be performed by others)

Participates in other special projects, represents the department in meetings and performs other job related duties as required.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS NEEDED TO PERFORM JOB FUNCTIONS:

Previous IT security related operations experience where incumbent has had exposure to security environments is a plus. Incumbent must possess strong computer skills and a working knowledge of the Internet, spreadsheets and word processing software. Excellent analytical organizational, communications and interpersonal skills are required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Work sitting for an extended period of time at a computer.
• May require driving to various offsite locations (driver’s license and insurance will be required for this)
• May require lifting of computers, switches, and other items weighing from 10-15lbs
