We have an immediate need for a Data Scientist with experience supporting Population Health analytics. This permanent position is 100% remote and offers competitive compensation (that will depend on level of experience). Excellent benefits package.
Target Skills and Experience:
- 4+ years of Data Science experience with focus in statistics/predictive modeling and related business strategy.
- Strong knowledge in natural language processing, machine learning, conceptual modelling, hypothesis testing, and relational database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
- Experience supporting Population Health related Analytics as a Data Scientist.
- Knowledgeable in healthcare industry and healthcare information standards such as ICD 9/10 and CPT codes, industry standard groupers (e.g., ETGs, DRGs, DCGs, etc.) and health care delivery system processes.
- Experience working with big data technologies (R, Python, SQL, no-SQL databases, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in utilizing various BI/Data Visualization tools (Tableau, Business Objects, etc), and SAS statistical software (including ability to QA SAS code).
- Familiarity with healthcare populations and metrics (such as PDC-Proportion Days Covered and generating calculations).
- Demonstrated ability to generate PowerPoint presentations explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
