What You'll Be Doing:
- Analytics Production: Generate analytics and dashboards to support core business objectives, with a focus on Client Operations, Finance, and Marketing
- Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical methods to analyze data, identifying trends and insights that can inform business strategies
- Query Writing: Develop and execute SQL queries to collect and analyze raw data, ensuring accurate and efficient data retrieval for analysis
- Presentation: Clearly present observations and findings to leadership teams, translating complex data into actionable insights
- Data Requirements Writing: Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to specify requirements for new data sources, facilitating the growth of our data warehouse
- Product Enhancement: Work alongside the product team to drive product enhancements through improved data utilization
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and reliability of new data before it is released to the business
- Ad-Hoc Support: Respond to ad-hoc analytics requests, providing timely and impactful data analysis as needed
What You'll Need to Have:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years of experience in data science, business analytics, or a related role
- Data Analytics Proficiency: Strong skills in data analytics and information presentation
- Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into data-driven analysis
- Data Visualization Tools: Experience with tools such as Tableau, AWS QuickSight, or similar.
- Ownership Mindset: A proactive approach to your work, understanding that the assets you create will be crucial for business decisions
Bonus Points for:
- Python, R, or another programming language that can be used for statistical analysis
- Bachelor's Degree in a Quantitative field including, but not limited to Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science
- Experience using Process Improvement frameworks such as Six Sigma, TQM, Lean or PDCA
- Experience with Regression Analysis
- Experience with AI/ML Models
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with dbt, dbt-core or dbt Cloud
- Experience with modern data orchestration frameworks like Argo Workflows, Airflow, or Dagster
- Experience with payment processing and the accompanying data
