As aData Science and Analytics Manager, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of COUNTRY's PCO products and actuarial data foundation. You will have direct supervision over several entry level analysts where you will be able to have hands on supervision. You and your team will work on a variety of projects and will not be limited to specific lines of business or types of analysis.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL.
How does a Data Science & Analytics Manager make a difference?
- Lead meetings to present analysis, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders to aid in making strategic decisions for the company.
- Implement advanced analytics and manage projects and resources.
- Oversees the creation and delivery of high-quality, comprehensive advanced analytics solutions involving artificial intelligence, predictive modeling, and deep learning.
- Help support and develop the team's acquisition, manipulation and execution of data analysis using various tools and methods while maintaining data integrity.
- Manages the implementation and maintenance of disaster recovery plans and activities in assigned areas. Maintains current contact information for all employees in applicable areas and communicates with non-recovery employees during a disaster.

Do you have what we're looking for?
- Prior predictive modeling experience preferably with actuarial data.
- The ability to convey complex topics in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Knowledge of various programming languages (emphasis on Python).
- Prior use of the WTW product Emblem and/or Radar.
- This is a leadership role, which typically requires 8 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training, including management experience.
