A successful Data Modeler will:

  • Evaluate enterprise data warehouse and analytics architecture feasibility, risk and technologies related to business change.  This includes assessing, identifying and recommending business stakeholders' data requirements, solution prototyping and development, processes and performance from business and technical standpoints; and the impact of data changes on business and/or IT processes
  • Prioritize, prepare and implement analytics, BI and/or DW architectural improvements including but not limited to developing and recommending alternative technical and data management solutions and architectural improvement plans

Who You Are:

  • Must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of data modeling within data warehouse or data mart designs.
  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience and demonstrable technical expertise in enterprise-class data analytics solutions (i.e. data management, data integration, information delivery, and/or advanced analytics)
  • Minimum 5 years of recent experience and demonstrable expertise in solving data analytics and platform challenges
  • Strong working knowledge of data warehouses and data model best practices in GCP.
  • Working knowledge of the GCP architecture and suite of tools
  • Architecture experience with applications incorporating innovative data analytic technologies such as Python, Spark, R, and other open source and proprietary data analytics platforms and tools
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience estimating technical solution builds, and contributing to custom proposals, Statements of Work, advisory deliverables, and executive-level presentations
  • Recent experience related to Automotive industry and data analytics architecture, technology, and design.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only)

  • S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $77,400 to $160,000.  Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.
  • In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
