MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point; Google Apps;
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and proofreading skills with the ability to track potential errors and verify accurate data contained in databases;
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure the appropriate flow of information, collaborative efforts, and feedback;
- Ability to complete complex tasks and minimize errors with attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently without close supervision;
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school system staff, staff members of external funding agencies, and the community.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent.
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates diploma from an accredited college or university;
- Experience in a secretarial related field.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages and monitors data and communication documents related to students assigned to alternative schools and programs.
- Manages and monitors Alternative Counseling and Education Program (ACE) offers, enrollments, declines, compliance, and non-compliance.
- Compiles the list of students to report within the parameters of Lose Control Lose your License statute.
- Supports the Alternative Education Departments memorandums of agreements with extended learning program partners.
- Supports data requests for the WCPSS run Before and After Care Programs.
- Compiles data requests for Alternative Education department related to Alternative Learning Centers (ALC) and in-school suspension (ISS.)
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
