POSITION SUMMARY:
The Data Management Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing tasks, schedules, and sprint cycles across our Data Management Team.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and Coordinate Scrum Board and Tasks:
- Oversee the organization and maintenance of the Scrum board for the Data Management Team.
- Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, ensuring that tasks are updated, progress is tracked, and impediments are addressed promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and allocate tasks based on project requirements and team capacity.
- Assist Project Management with Schedule Timelines:
- Work closely with Project Managers to understand project timelines and assist in creating schedules that align with project goals.
- Provide regular updates on the progress of tasks and sprint cycles to the Project Management team.
- Assist Scrum Team Leads in Task Identification and Time Estimation:
- Support Scrum Team Leads in breaking down project requirements into manageable tasks.
- Collaborate with team leads to estimate the time required for each task and ensure realistic planning for sprint cycles.
- Manage Sprints Across Scrum Teams:
- Coordinate and oversee sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews across the 4 Scrum teams within the Data Management department.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration among the teams to meet sprint goals and project deadlines.
- Monitor sprint progress, identify potential risks or issues, and work with teams to resolve them in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage tasks, foster collaboration among teams, and ensure the timely delivery of projects within the Data Management department. The Data Management Coordinator will be a key contributor to the success of our projects by implementing efficient processes and facilitating effective communication within the teams.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken settings
- Three to five years of experience in an office environment
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft applications
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Collaboration and interpersonal skills
