The Data Governance Manager develops and executes Inari's Data Governance framework, policy, and standards. This role is responsible for managing, designing, and coordinating how data is processed through the organization and working closely with cross-functional teams, including data stewards, data owners, and business analysts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop control structures within an environment to ensure the accuracy and quality of data through all upstream and downstream data channels.
- Oversee maintenance of business rules and data quality management activities to align with up/downstream data needs and changes.
- Work cross-functionally to identify opportunities and build solutions to optimize data processing, improve data quality and reduce failures.
- Collaborate with business partners and technology to develop understanding of data requirements, challenges, and pain points.
- Document and maintain data standards, partnering with functional and business data owners to map existing data structures, usage, and common definitions.
- Develop, implement, and manage the data quality framework to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Develop and maintain data cataloging and establish data lineage to support the
organization's data management needs. - Monitor, assess and report on data quality issues and risks to management and
stakeholders. - Create methods for monitoring, addressing, and reporting any data incidents.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in direct Data Governance; Minimum 4 years of experience with databases and database structures.
- Experience with data analysis, Data Governance, data quality, business data modeling and/or reporting.
- Strong analytic abilities to understand, digest, and summarize complex data to different audiences.
- Strong data visualization, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of Data Governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Meet deadlines and prioritize multiple requests.
- Excellent team collaboration.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred
- Experience using SQL and VBA strongly preferred.
- Prior experience working in the medical device industry, preferred.
Inari Medical offers competitive health and wealth benefits for our employees. The base pay range for this position is $130,000 - $145,000. A range of factors, including location, skills, and experience, will be considered. Actual compensation may vary.
