Data Entry Supervisor (Lcq-Qc)

Position Overview

The Data Entry Supervisor is responsible for all daily functions of the Data Entry Specialists. Performs work within HAECO, FAA and our customers' standards of quality.  The Data Entry Specialist Supervisor is responsible for personnel performance management, attendance monitoring and company policy compliance within the Data Entry Specialist group.

• Provides adequate training and assistance to Data Entry Specialists in the proper procedures, methods and practices in accordance with the Inspection Procedures Manual (IPM) and any applicable customer's Maintenance Manuals.
• Schedules and assigns Data Entry Specialists to each project for optimum coverage.
• Ensures that all paperwork is controlled and accounted for at all times, audits are conducted and that all tallies are accurate.
• Ensures that all job cards, routines, non-routines and all MIS entered FAA reporting forms are accurately entered into the MIS system with complete discrepancy and budget information.
• Manages operations in the most effective manner eliminating waste and improving productivity.
• Assures that all closed items with the tally are routed to Aircraft Records as soon as possible after closure.
• Ensures that Data Entry Specialist interface with Aircraft Records prior to an aircraft departure to assure that all of the paperwork is accounted for.  Works closely with Planning, Managers, Quality Control, Aircraft Records, etc., to ensure aircraft projects meet their projections.
• Promotes a culture of safety by monitoring self and others to assure all duties are performed within the guidelines as specified by the HAECO Team Member Safety Manual.
• Ensures aircraft documents are processed in a timely manner in support of aircraft delivery schedules.
• Supports, enforces and complies with company policies and procedures as required.
• Is constantly aware of safety issues to ensure all employees have a safe work environment.
• Assure personnel are treated equally and fairly in accordance with HAECO Human Resources policies and procedures.
• Administer disciplinary action to assigned personnel, as appropriate and required, in accordance with HAECO Human Resources policies and procedures.
• Correct time keeping errors for assigned personnel as required.
• Implement and monitor strategic company and department initiatives as required and directed.
• Provide coaching, counseling and guidance to assigned work groups.

What you need: (Requirements)

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years large commercial jet aircraft related experience. 
• Two (2) years Supervisory/Management experience. 
• Must be familiar with aircraft required documentation.
• Basic computer experience
• Must have excellent supervisory and communication skills.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Normal office environment where approximately 60% of work is performed in a sitting position with the remaining time walking and moving around the office area.
• Normal or corrected hearing and vision are required.
• Active physically, must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, stand for prolonged periods of time, climb steps and ladders.
• Subject to continual loud noises.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

 Preferred

• One (1) year experience as a Production Controller.
