We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Full-Time, Data Entry Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently inputting insurance-related data into our company's systems. Your primary focus will be on maintaining data integrity, ensuring the accuracy of information, and supporting our insurance team in their daily operations.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data Entry: Enter insurance-related information into our databases and systems with precision and meticulous attention to detail.
- Accuracy Assurance: Review data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information, and make necessary corrections to ensure the highest level of data integrity.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough and organized records of all Data Entry activities, including source documents and updates.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Communication: Collaborate with team members to address data-related queries, clarify information, and resolve discrepancies.
- Efficiency Enhancement: Identify opportunities to streamline Data Entry processes, suggest improvements, and contribute to enhancing overall efficiency.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism, adhering to strict data security protocols.
- Time Management: Prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and ensure timely completion of assigned projects.
- Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility in handling changing priorities and responsibilities as required by the insurance department.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in Data Entry or related fields are a plus.
- Proven experience in Data Entry or administrative roles required
- P&C Insurance knowledge or experience required
- Basic knowledge of P&C insurance terminology and processes is required.
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Data Entry software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Keen attention to detail and excellent accuracy in Data Entry, with the ability to detect and correct errors efficiently.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining data integrity and meeting deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and address data-related queries.
- Understanding of data confidentiality and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies effectively.
