Form of workIE is seeking an Engineering Aide for our Price, Utah facility. We are growing! Intermountain Electronics, Inc is a leading provider of custom engineered and manufactured process and electrical systems to the mining, oil & gas, and utility industries in North America.
Our turnkey products are generally mobile - mounted on skids or in portable e-houses. The Engineering Aide preforms entry level engineering tasks and assignments to assist the broader engineering group. Who are we looking for?

What you will do. Essential Functions The Engineering Aide will understand and carry out a variety of drafting and clerical tasks assigned by the Engineering Manager. * Collaborate with other engineers and workers to design, develop, test, and improve products and engineering processes.
* Prepare preliminary and detailed design drawings using Auto Cad, Solid Edge or similar engineering CAD software. * Use 3D modeling and 2D drawings to complete physical and mechanical designs, details, drawings, and layouts for manufactured equipment. * Design small features and ancillary items to support high level project.
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports. * Assist in laser nesting and detailing. * Research and provide documentation on project design needs.
* Evaluate products and processes and ensure standardization of quality assurance measures. * Participate in various learning experiences, which may include attending workshops and training sessions. * Calibrate and troubleshoot equipment as required.
