Job Description
- Update Contractor and License information
- Check address and owner information on all pending and incoming application and update as needed
- Adding the GIS report to the permit application
- Add required inspection to workflow on all pending and incoming New Commercial and New Residential applications.
- Review all pending and incoming Residential Addition/Alteration applications and escalate when needed.
- Review all incoming Plumbing applications to identify emergencies. Escalate emergencies as instructed.
- Manually enter Environmental Health data until it can be automatically added to the workflow.
- Remove all cancelled applications out of OnBase workflow.
- Evaluate all applications for required documents.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 plus years of work experience.
- Detailed oriented and has good computer skills.
- Good analytical skills.
- Some understanding of GIS to help with address issues, this skillset also helps, as construction permit are all related to a property.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and written.
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as a team member.
- Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
- Ability to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities.
- Knowledge in the use of MS Office Suite, the Internet, and other internal applications necessary to complete routine and moderately complex tasks.
- Experience with computer software to include search capabilities.
