Short Term Rental Data Entry Job Description
Clackamas County recently passed a Short Term Rental (STR) ordinance. The ordinance requires STR owner/operators to register with the County and sets guidelines on appropriate STR uses. The County has contracted with an organization that is building/customizing a website that will result in an online inventory of all STR’s in the County.
Approximately 300 owner/operators have registered with the County but have not been uploaded to the website.
The County is looking for a temporary staff member to collect and transfer data (name, address, parcel ID, registration number, insurance information, etc.) from the registrations (in PDF and paper form) to an Excel spreadsheet so it can eventually be uploaded to the website.
A successful candidate will possess working knowledge with Data Entry and retrieval techniques and the skills and experience accurately entering data, understand and interpret source documents, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
The work is expected to take no longer than 40 hours.
