Data Entry Clerk/ Ap/Ar Assistant (Sage 100 Prefered )

We are looking for a Bookkeeper / AP/ AR Clerk to join our organization. In this role, you will support Accounting & Finance in various areas of accounting. Actively participates in month-end close processes, DATA ENTRY, and inventory modules to ensure that they are completed accurately.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of account reconciliations.
• Data entry of AP and inventory receipt of goods/invoice
• Responsible for preparing aged invoice reports / open Purchase Order modules.
• Write departmental procedures as necessary.
• Cross-verify invoices.
• Prepare/review weekly invoices
• Assist in the documentation of accounting processes and procedures.
• Support annual budget preparation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or other related field of study is preferred and 4 plus years in accounting/bookkeeping is strongly desired, preferably within the oil and gas industry
• Minimum completion of High School Diploma
• Independent / Self Starter or other related financial duties industry experience preferred.
• Financial /bookkeeping using SAGE 100 experience preferred.
• Effective time management, organizational and multitasking skills
• Possess high ethical standards including honesty, integrity, and dedication. Financial/Bookkeeping experience a plus.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Sage, Outlook, Microsoft 365 and Access
• Computer Savvy individual   
• Capable of preserving confidential or sensitive information
• Confident team player that works well under pressure
