Job Responsibilities
- Support the financial data warehouse, data marts, and data analytical products.
- Design & develop enhancements to the financial data & reporting environment.
- Assist staff and business customers in connecting, using data marts, and analytical products such as IBM Cognos Analytics, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Perform standard administrative tasks such as set-up, security, and maintenance for new users, clients, roles, and groups, monitor and troubleshoot system performance.
- Use automation and integration tools to build robust scheduled processes for moving and redefining data into data warehouses, data marts, or other analytics data systems.
- Track timeline of future major upgrades, participate in upgrade planning, and apply current product patches.
- Plan server utilization for new and existing projects, work with Server group to enhance or build new servers.
- Migrate new objects (reports, queries) into Test and Production instances.
- Maintain product configuration and lead application testing.
- Maintain data source connectivity/integration, rollback & restore servers as needed.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information systems, Database management, or related field.
Experience/Education Equivalency: A combination of education and/or training and/or experience which provides an equivalent background required to perform the work of the class may be substituted for the required education or experience.
To be successful in this role, a candidate should possess some of the following knowledge/experience, skills & abilities:
- Knowledge and experience with IBM Cognos Analytics or similar business intelligence (BI) tool.
- Knowledge of database systems, SQL languages, database scripting, management, scheduling, optimization, integration tools.
- Understanding of server architectures and requirements for large data analytics projects, including the ability to scope processing, memory, and storage needs.
- Experience and knowledge of cloud services for data analytics, including tools and processes for data project migrations, cloud native tools and services for data analytics, deployment processes, security and privacy principles, and cloud service cost strategies.
- Knowledge and experience with multiple database systems and the related tool sets available, for example Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres SQL, Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools, Reporting, scheduling, and integration tools.
- Understanding of Analytics and reporting tools, specifically IBM Cognos Analytics, IBM Planning Analytics, Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Experience building Data Warehouse systems and analytics systems, including learning, and understanding business needs and creating facts and dimensions, analysis cubes, processing scripts, schedules, and implementing integration packages.
Additional Information
Workplace Environment:This position allows for the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. Employees will be required to come into the office twice a week. Individual schedules will be agreed upon by the employee and their supervisor.
The full salary range for this position is $45.44 - $68.20 per hour.
