JOB TITLE: Data Engineer **Hiring for a Senior Data Engineer and a non-senior Data Engineer**
DEPARTMENT: Information Technology
REPORTS TO: Business Intelligence Manager of Development
SALARY: Senior Data Engineer ($120,000-$140,000 salary range)
Data Engineer ($100,000-$120,000 salary range)
SCHEDULE: Onsite position, 9am-5pm, in Charlotte, NC 28273
POSITION PURPOSE: To analyze, design, develop, implement, maintain and support SSIS Scripts, Stored Procedures and other related ETL structures to meet the company’s needs.

What You Will Be Doing
· Analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, maintaining and supporting SSIS Scripts, Stored Procedures and other related ETL structures
· Consulting with data management teams to get a big-picture idea of the company’s data storage needs.
· Designing and coding the data warehousing system to desired company specifications.
· Prepare test data and test programs, conducting preliminary testing of the warehousing environment before data is extracted
· Extracting company data and transferring it into the new warehousing environment
Required Skills & Experience
· Strong experience in SSIS and creating SSIS packages
· ETL experience, extracting & transforming data within a BI environment
· 2-4 yrs of MS SQL Server, SQL agent jobs, SSIS packages
· 2-4 yrs of SQL programming objects, stored procedures, user-defined functions, common table expressions
· 2-4 yrs of comprehensive data warehouse analysis and design experience, including knowledge of DW methodologies and data modeling
Preferred Skills & Experience
- BA degree in a computer science, IT, or comparable data-oriented fields
- 2 yrs of SharePoint PerformancePoint
