Data Engineer Intern

Description:

This Position will report to and work with the CAD Data Engineer and will maintain the data, its storage, and the connection between the BIM and CMMS systems. Responsible for running and analyzing reports, collaborating with our analytics team to help us better understand and interpret our data, develop strategies to improve our products, and provide insights that will help us grow our business.

Specific Duties:

• Collaborate with the analytics team to ensure data accuracy and quality.
• Monitor data to identify potential areas of improvement.
• Assist with the implementation of data-driven solutions.
• Creating, Writing Code, and Monitoring data using Power Automate, Power Query, Power BI
• Experience and understanding of Python, R, and/or SQL
• Experience in multiple database technologies and solutions
• Assist with IT projects and BI needs across departments.
• Monitor current APIs between Software and AWS Data Lake.
• Assist CAD Data Engineer with BIM related processes.
• Assist in Interpretation of drawings and specifications for new and existing buildings.
• Complete all other duties assigned.

5. Power BI or Business Intelligence Applications preferred

Education and Qualifications:

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an aptitude for working with large datasets.

· Pursuing a degree in Information systems, BI or AI related fields.

· Experience with AutoCAD; including Revit or easily trained.

· Data Analytics Experience preferred

· SQL or programming language preferred.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office.

· AWS Knowledge needed or the ability to acquire the education.

· CMMS knowledge needed.
