Eagle Brook Church is a multi-site church looking for an efficient and relational Databa Coordinator to join our Technology team. This person will support the mission of our church by serving staff database users. If you’re passionate about data integrity and customer service, you may be the perfect candidate. POSITION SUMMARY
Serves database users by completing database requests. Validates data entry accuracy and elevates systems issues to Technology team. Has both technical level experience and the ability to interface with all levels of database users. Reports to Lead Data Analyst.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follows priority response process to prioritize workload and direct volunteers
- Uses database workflows to build processes and find solutions for database users
- Compiles and distributes regular information reporting, including weekly attendance and monthly organizational metrics
- Completes data requests including digital form creation, data input, and record accuracy
- Ensures the accuracy and consistency of data
- Provides support for data management including passwords, identification, and security
- Tests and documents information management processes, software upgrades, and data configuration changes for the data driven information systems
- Coordinates the resolution of database support requests
- Supports Application Administrators by documenting vendor software updates, data sheets, and user guides
- Provides validation and Quality Assurance testing support
- Offers input on workflows and software configuration improvements
- Contributes to training and directing volunteers and staff
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates degree in IT, MIS, or Business preferred
- 3 years of experience with software systems administration and data management process
- Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook’s nine core beliefs
- Aptitude for technology and database management systems
- Experience with Rock RMS Church Management System a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient at organization, documentation, and execution of data related projects
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Strong communication skills written, verbal and interpersonal
WORK SCHEDULE
Generally, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday between 8 am - 4:30 pm at our Centerville, MN office.
Classification: Non-Exempt; Hourly // Status:Part-Time; 24 hours per week // Team:Technology
