Knowledge of Legislative Appropriation Request Preparation, hardware/software lifecycle management, hardware/software currency, performance reporting, budget forecasting, and management.
Knowledge of project management theories and practices; of systems and procedures used to evaluate third-party vendor’s cost estimates; and of local, state, and federal laws and regulations relevant to the DCS systems.
Knowledge of the Department of Information Resources (DIR) statewide Data Center Services (DCS) contract.
Knowledge of CMDB data usage in various processes-e.g. Incident, Problem, Asset, Change
Knowledge of Discovery and Service Mapping tools and ITIL Foundations
Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions; to analyze complex information, identify issues, and develop plans to address/mitigate issues; to demonstrate collaboration, negotiation, and facilitation skills; to review reports and documents; to communicate effectively; and to coordinate the work of others, including the DCS service providers.
