The Data Center MEP Design Engineer (Senior Project Manager/SPM) leads multi-disciplinary programs and projects with numerous cross-functional teams for the client's Data Center portfolio. The candidate leads with strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure design experience, supporting program-wide initiatives. The SPM provides program level support for all subject areas related to specifically assigned Data Center MEP infrastructure design requirements.
What you'll do:
+ Drive routine project meetings (kickoffs, weekly program, status review), manage project resources, and multiple concurrent projects to completion per chartered target dates, take meeting minutes and distribute.
+ Leads cross-functional project teams composed of R&D, Engineers, Operations, Quality and Safety.
+ Run multiple projects from inception through completion.
+ Team with stakeholders from different organizations to develop scope, technical requirements and execution plans for new projects (taking an ambiguous requirement and developing an executable plan).
+ Collect, analyze, and lead data from individual sites to generate reports.
+ Assist with the improvement of documentation related to process, MOPs, schedule templates, reports, and communication plans.
+ Assist with cost analysis for programs that require value engineering.
+ Supports Business Reviews and any preliminary or interim reviews related to the project through the reporting Technical Program Manager.
What you'll need:
+ Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
+ Experience with construction related to Data Center construction or heavy industrial work involving mechanical and electrical systems.
Recommended experience:
+ Technical Project Management or Coordination
+ Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Drawings, Hangouts, etc.
+ Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
+ Scheduling application: Primavera P6 is an advantage

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Data Center MEP Design Engineer position is $170,000.00 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $195,000.00 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
