What you'll be doing

Manage a highly technical team of skilled employees that focus on all aspects relating to the Data Center infrastructure supporting Teletech's global presence. This position has full functional responsibility for the Data Center technology vertical, including Architecture, Design, Implementations and Operational support.

You will be responsible for

+ Lead a dedicated team of Data Center Engineers to support a global Data Center footprint.

+ Ownership as TTEC's POC for all Co-Location Data Center partnerships.

+ Manage Global Data Center budget with cost tracking and growth projections.

+ Lead Data Center team efforts for migration and consolidation projects.

+ Create and maintain Data Center documentation; including Global (Policy-Procedure-Process).

+ Create Design documents for Co-Location Data Center builds including (cage layout, power delivery, backbone cabling, rack layouts, mass layer-1 distribution, ROFR accommodations)

+ Manage quarterly audit initiatives for (SOX, PCI, HIPPA, HITRUST)

+ Manage capacity analysis and planning for Rack Space, Power Distribution and Network Port density.

+ Manage team responsible for global DCIM tool.

+ Ensure afterhours RFC Implementations have required Data Center Engineering support.

+ Manage all aspects of Data Center Security (i.e. documentation, implementation, etc.) protocols as dictated by TTEC's operating standards.

+ Manage Rack/Stack teams responsible for equipment installations and decommissioning projects as needed.

+ Handle all aspects of coordinating with management peer's (Network/Security/Voice) to troubleshoot technical issues that arise.

+ Monitor and escalate any HVAC or power system alarms

+ Manage teams 24 7 On Call Support on a rotational basis.

+ Participate with global Real-estate, Construction and Facilities teams to perform site surveys for future TTEC Contact Center deployments.

+ Design Contact Center site's MDF/IDF/PDU's/Structured cabling build outs.

Desired Skills and Experience

+ 10 years' experience in Data Center Operations

+ Must be comfortable working in Data Center environments including Co-Location and TeleTech owned/leased buildings

+ Advanced understanding of Data Center Best Practice efforts

+ Strong knowledge of MS Visio and Excel

+ Basic understanding of DCIM tools

+ Must have an understanding of server technology and network connectivity requirements.

+ Basic understanding of networking, TCP/IP, VLAN's, cable topologies

+ Basic understanding of Telco circuitry including DS3, T1, PRI, POTS, Ethernet, MPLS

+ Must have an understanding Data Center cabling standards, including structured cabling with Fiber and Copper.

+ Basic working knowledge of electrical systems and general electrical theory, including UPS systems and PDU's

+ Flexibility to work different shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

+ Ability to lift 60-75lbs

+ Excellent written and communication skills

+ CDCTP / CDCDP / CDCMP certification is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $95,000 - $151,000 USD. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
