Data Center (IBX) Technician III - Lincoln Tech
Job Summary
- Data Centers are considered Critical Facilities. This means that we support hospitals, laboratories, and public safety centers. Simply put - We cannot go dark. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for semi-routine tasks like troubleshooting, installing sophisticated circuits, and performing custom installations, within standard operating procedures as a team.

Responsibilities
- You are responsible for racking and stacking, and powering up customer equipment
- You can read installation plans (Visio Drawings / Spreadsheets) and implement installation accordingly
- You will install a circuit requiring sophisticated fiber terminations
- You will maintain queue management
- Resolves work priorities from the Oracle queue and ensure alignment to all commit times
- In this role, you will troubleshoot switched/multiplexed/media converted circuits, raises to, and work with the networking group, as needed
- You will work with customers to tackle issues
- Installs/tests/modifies cross-connects per SOPs and ensures accurate cable management of coax, fiber, twisted pair copper, and intra-building cross connects
- Installs and tests sophisticated cross connects circuits (switched, multiplexed, etc.)
- Maintains detailed written records of all your work activity
- Designs and leads cage/infrastructure modification projects
- Finishes the assigned training promptly
- You are passionate about customer happiness through timely and detailed order execution
Qualifications
- You have your High School Diploma
- You can perform all crucial job functions, including walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, lifting, and manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation
- You can work days/nights/weekends/holidays if needed and/or required
The targeted pay range for this position in the following locations are:
- San Francisco/Bay Area: $25/hour to $40/hour
- California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington State: $25/hour to $40/hour
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role. level, and location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
