Summary
The Data Auditing (formerly Accounts Receivable) Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely entry of all National Guard reservations into the accounting system. Reports directly to the Controller, Government Solutions
2.1 Essential Position Functions
- Review Military Rosters for accuracy for new and existing reservations
- Create new properties, units and reservations in the accounting system following THS Policy for National Guard reservations
- Complete all updates made to the roster in the accounting system, and ensure all reservations being edited/entered are in compliance with client requirements
- Communicate with Reservations for inquiries/questions related to roster input from reservations
- Request folios daily, for check in and check outs
- Load credit cards for check ins daily
- Save folios for all short stays
- Pull in-house report weekly to perform Quality Control
- Other duties as assigned
2.2 Minimum Position Requirements
- Education: high school diploma or GED with some college; accounting degree preferred
- Experience: Two to Four years of accounting experience
- Skills: Accounting software, cost accounting, Microsoft Office, strong organizational skills, typing, and 10-key
2.3Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
