CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to build sustained, community-based response programs to natural disasters. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, CORE GA provides free vaccinations and additional resources to disadvantaged communities and emerging hotspots around Georgia. This is accomplished through maintaining strategic partnerships with local health agencies and community-based organizations to reach high-risk populations in vulnerable areas. The Data Assistant will support the Data Manager with data collection, reporting, and other administrative duties.
- Support programs with all data collection and reporting requirements
- Support with general data needs and reports that arise from partners.
- Assist in the development of data capturing systems for program staff.
- Communicate with department management and supervisors regarding any data collection.
- Assist in revising and developing department forms.
- Provide technical support for Salesforce, Smartsheet, Curogram, and scheduling.
- Create maps and visuals of CORE program activities.
- Develop and share reports with various partners.
- Provide summary of activities to different departments to guide operations and for dissemination to social media.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's in business, computer science, public health, or related field.
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite and G suite
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Smartsheet and Power BI
- Training and experience in data analysis, to include data visualization (ie. R, SQL) and mapping (ie. qGIS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a highly collaborative organization. Able to work effectively as part of a small, proactive team.
- Available full-time, 40 hours a week
- Microsoft Office & G Suites Experience
- Visualization Software Experience – Tableau or Power BI

- Mapping Experience – GIS products
- Experience writing queries and working with databases.

In accordance with law, the expected pay range for this position is posted with this position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
