Hyster-Yale Group, Inc. (HYG), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Data Architect based at our Greenville, NC location.
What you will do:
Data Architecture & Analysis
- Collaborate with Data Architecture leaders to identify and quantify business impact of emerging technologies and business models.
- Responsible for helping define initial solution design and continual refinement, enhancement, and alignment across the digital platform.
- Create all necessary documentation for data engineers and business personnel to agree on the accepted solution.
Data Engineering
- Able to fulfill the design's development and/or oversea and test the implementation of an assigned data engineer to the project.
- Experience with Informatica preferred.
Project Management
- Assist with managing projects that have been and will be created as part of DSIG.
- Contribute to delivering the projects on schedule and within budget.
- Familiarity with Agile preferred.
Data Governance
- Being led by the Data Strategy, Integrations, and Governance team, work with the business to obtain the necessary data and information.

- You possess a strong focus on specific sets of technology expertise supported by problem solving, analytical, communication, crisis management, and interpersonal skills.
- You are comfortable directly influencing globally, both digital strategy and its subsequent execution.
- You can successfully and positively interact with internal and external customers.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or field work equivalency.
- With degree, 3 years of related experience.
- In lieu of degree, 5+ years of relevant data analyst experience.
