Data Engineering and Solutions based discussion on Azure Synapse , Azure Databricks(Spark, python) , Azure Delta Lake, Snowflake , Airflow, BI solutions - Tableau, PBI, Spotfire.
Role needed was more of Data Architect ( for consolidated Modelling ) and cloud solution architecture to be followed in parallel with this. reengineering might be required. depends on assessment of current data model in source system and current state architecture . Also, many use cases for BI solutions to be consolidated to 1 BI tool is in the discussion ( currently they have many BI tools - Spotfire, tableau, PBI etc.)
Consulting/assessment/Data Modelling exercise to be done with business owners might turn out to be a long-term larger solution with phased approach solution engineering & will be doing a core Data Architecture role. They will look at all our data models or data structures that we have today in snowflake (3 models), one model in SQL server (DWC) and 1 model in Cloudera CDP(ECM) wholistically. we need someone who is good with analyzing the data and understanding the model (ER Diagram) as input and creating a new ER Diagram from scratch based on need that we have from our business partners.
