DataArchitect (Azure) | About You
As a Data Architect, you are responsible for architecting, designing, and overseeing on-prem to cloud migrations leveraging Azure, SQL Server, QlikView, and Power BI. Must be highly analytical and have theproven ability to develop and reverse complex engineering solutions. Criticalthinking and advanced problem-solving skills are core behaviors among the team.Strong team and project lead experience will be valuable for this position.
DataArchitect (Azure) | Day-to-Day
- Assess current and future states to provide a roadmap for data solutions.
- Design, develop, and test databases, data warehouses, data lakes, queries and views, reports, and dashboards.
- Lead on-prem to cloud migration projects and facilitate the smooth transition of SQL Server databases to Azure and QlikView to Power BI.
- Take ownership of technical solutions from a design and architecture perspective for projects in the presales phase and ongoing projects.
- Documents new and existing models, solutions, and implementation.
- Build modern approaches to automating data pipelines.
DataArchitect (Azure) | Skills & Experience
- Experience with architecting designs and solutions, including the migration planning of existing data and systems.
- Experience migrating from QlikView to Power BI, showcasing proficiency in both tools.
- Proven success in on-prem to cloud migration projects, specifically with SQL Server to Azure migration.
- Expert-level SQL skills, including Stored Procedures and Performance Tuning.
- Solid understanding of ETL strategies and design (staging environments, data transformation, change data capture, slowly changing dimensions, etc.), to promptly deliver functional and valuable solutions.
- Deep understanding of bi-directional MDM.
