The Data & Reporting Analyst is responsible for ongoing management and support of Global Field Operations' data integrity initiatives, dashboard creation in CRM and Power BI, and ad hoc reporting requests. This person will master the nuanced Data and processes associated with the sales organization's Data and be working with sales leaders and cross-functional business units including Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and Sales Operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting, Data Analysis, and Misc. Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact in Global Field Operations for inbound requests for Power BI reports, dashboards in CRM, and ad hoc sales data reports/analysis.
- Curate a Data Dictionary aimed at driving alignment across different functional units across the business
- Compile and manage a glossary for all Sales Reports in partnership with Sales Enablement to ensure Sales understands how to access pertinent Data and reports
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver actionable insights through data visualization
- Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure the integrity and consistency of reporting data
- Develop and maintain data reporting solutions using Power BI, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and usability of generated reports and dashboards
- Partner with Sales Operations Managers and Revenue Operations Analyst for miscellaneous projects needed across the Global Field Operations organization
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to initiatives across the Global Field Operations organization
- Evaluate territory equitability for each region, team, and territory to ensure Minitab's corporate goals are aligned with sales goals and compensation budgets.
- Leverage Engineering and SQL as necessary to pull and analyze data from the data warehouse.
- Proactively monitor and assess sales data on an ongoing basis to ensure future annual planning efforts are streamlined.
- Facilitate reporting initiatives including revenue reporting and operational reporting initiatives across the Global Field Operations organization
- Provide analysis in preparation for Quarterly Business Reviews, annual budgeting and quota-setting activities, and other ad hoc requests
- Perform other duties and carry out additional assignments and responsibilities as business needs arise in support of the Global Field Operations OKRs.
- Support organizational initiatives focused on leveraging data as a strategy
- Participate in special projects as directed by the Manager, Sales Operations and Enablement
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE
- 1 - 2 years of experience in Sales/Revenue Operations, Finance, or a related role.
- Bachelor's degree in data science, Finance, Data Analytics or closely related discipline(s) or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of, and experience with CRM and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of sales concepts and KPI's
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Strong experience in analytics, requirements gathering, solution design, and
- Experience with analytical support tools (such as advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI) strongly preferred
- Experience in data extraction, manipulation, analysis, reporting, and use of data visualization tools.
