Job Description:
The Data and Platform Manager for Private Bank Controls & Supervision will play a significant role in various strategic and risk mitigation initiatives within Private Bank to resolve AML regulatory and audit issues, understand/manage/monitor Data and system lineage and enhance data quality and reporting. This role requires a blend of expertise in program management, stakeholder engagement, and technology and data architecture, in particular for the Private Bank line of business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and driving various multi-faceted programs to a successful conclusion by fostering collaboration across departments and ensuring that the work aligns with our strategic goals and is executed within the Bank's Risk Framework. This role is an opportunity to make a significant impact within the Private Bank in resolving regulatory and audit issues by leveraging your program management skills to drive impactful initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Leads the assessment of the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support Client Operational Services and ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards
  • Performs monitoring and testing of controls, identifying issues and control improvements for remediation
  • Leads the implementation of optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance (QA) practices to support business continuity efforts
  • Manages the performance and productivity of team members that conduct quality inspection reviews
  • Ensures timely execution of QA activities including control execution, case management, and results reporting
  • Manages and reviews all operations front line unit responses for regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and inspection reviews
  • Ensures accuracy of Data and that relevant information is captured for inspection metrics to support governance for dashboard reporting
  • Develop, implement and manage comprehensive programs focused on Private Bank data, AML Program, supervision and controls ensuring risk mitigation and sustainability
  • Engage and work closely with various teams including Financial Crimes, PB Platforms & Enablement, enterprise/WM Data and multiple technology teams to drive program alignment and success
  • Take decisions and drive the programs to successful conclusion through identification of asks and alignment of resources and escalation and mitigation of risks
  • Act as a liaison between PB Control & Supervision / Platforms & Enablement teams and Enterprise program managers to ensure that steps are executed to support the resolution of the action plans which would enable successful closure of regulatory issues
  • Monitor and report on program progress, outcomes, and impact, adjusting as necessary to achieve goals

Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mange large-scale, cross-functional programs
  • Strong understanding of Data and systems, lineage and risk
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in technology, business administration OR equivalent business experience
  • 10+ years of experience in program/project management or large project implementation OR equivalent business experience
  • Experience in Risk or sound understanding of risks
