We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with experience in the financial industry, particularly asset management, to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide valuable insights and recommendations within the context of financial markets and asset management. You will work closely with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions. Responsibilities:

• Analyze large and complex data sets from the financial industry, specifically asset management, to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including portfolio managers and investment analysts, to understand business requirements and objectives within the asset management field.
• Design and develop data models, databases, and ETL processes to facilitate data analysis within the financial industry.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards using Tableau and PowerBI, focusing on financial data visualization and reporting.
• Perform data cleansing, data transformation, and data validation tasks, specifically within the context of financial industry data.
• Conduct data quality assessments and implement data governance best practices, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Utilize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze financial data from relational databases.
• Use Python programming to automate data processes, perform statistical analysis, and develop financial models.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data analytics techniques within the financial industry and asset management field.
• Good to have experience with cloud platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) within a financial context.
• Knowledge of financial industry regulations and compliance standards, such as SEC reporting, is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 4-6 Years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role within the financial industry, specifically in asset management.
• Strong proficiency in Tableau and PowerBi for data visualization and reporting, with a focus on financial data.
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases, particularly in the context of financial data.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools within the financial industry.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation, with experience in developing financial models.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and technologies is a plus, particularly within the financial industry.
• Experience with financial industry regulations and compliance standards is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within the financial context.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, particularly when working with portfolio managers and investment analysts.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of data accuracy, especially when dealing with financial data.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
