POSITION TITLE: DATA ANALYST INTERN, PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
LOCATION: CAMBRIDGE, MA, US
This position sits in and reports to our global HQ in Cambridge, MA. There is no remote option and we have a hybrid work schedule. Local candidates only.

Who we are looking for:
As a Data Analyst Intern on the Product Management team, you will conduct product utilization analyses. You will build dashboards to track product metrics and develop new ideas for metrics based on your findings. You will also have the opportunity to conduct healthcare research and data science projects on the TriNetX network.
The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of passion for healthcare, business savvy, and data analytics experience.

What you will be doing:
  • Collect and analyze user activity metrics such as query runs, page views, and clicks to determine usage patterns and product adoption
  • Build dashboards to track user activity trends over time
  • Solicit feedback from internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for new metrics and analyses
  • Report findings and recommendations to TriNetX internal stakeholders

What you bring to TriNetX:
  • Current bachelor's or master's degree candidate with coursework in data science, computer science, public health, business, economics, sciences, or related discipline
  • Experience performing analyses using a language like Python, R, or SQL
  • Knowledge of data management and visualization techniques
  • Ability to create recommendations through complex data analyses
  • Strong communication skills in both speech and writing; able to precisely communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Attention to detail; capable of analyzing problems at a detailed level without losing sight of the big picture

Bonus qualifications:
  • Hands on experience with data science environments and methodologies
  • Experience working with health care data, primarily focused on EHR and Claims data
  • Familiarity with compliance related to healthcare data in the US and internationally (HIPAA, GDPR, etc)
