Air Cost Control ("A2C"), a subsidiary of HEICO, a leading aviation electrical interconnect product distribution Company, is seeking a Data Analyst Intern (this position is NOT REMOTE). The ideal candidate must be a current Data Analytics or Data Science student with a strong interest in data analysis, specifically in the Aerospace industry. You will be responsible for analyzing Pricing and Market data collected from various sources. This position requires excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as experience with statistical analysis and data visualization.

 

This is a part-time position that will require up to 20 hours of work per week from August 2023 to December 2023, it is an on-site position, in an office setting, we are located in Sunrise Florida, prefer a candidate that resides in Florida.

 

As a Data Analyst Intern you would be primarily responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing and interpreting Pricing and Market data collected from various sources from a business perspective. 
• Performing statistical analysis on the data to identify patterns and trends. 
• Creating visualizations to communicate insights from the data effectively. 
• Working with the team to identify opportunities for improving data collection and analysis processes. 
• Documenting analysis methods and results. 
• Presenting findings to team members and stakeholders. 

Requirements

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications: 

• Must be currently a student enrolled in a degree-seeking program and in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s or master’s degree. (Required) 
• Business analytics, finance, economics, engineering-based degree/master preferred. 
• Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Python, Excel). (Required) 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 
• Familiarity with pricing strategies and market analysis techniques.
